Welcome to Funky Feet

Funky Feet is a modern, energetic dance school built on the principle of combining fun, friendship and fitness. The school Principle, Amy Campbell, set up the school with intention of spreading her own enthusiasm for, and love of dance to a new generation, and has been inspiring young dancers, now, for over a decade.

The school caters to people of all ages from 18 months up, and has recently settled into a new permanent venue in Central Portsmouth. This has allowed us to extend our range of classes to include, for the first time, the baby dance curriculum Melody Movement. Students can choose to train towards thier ISTD Dance grades*, and we are currently preparing our first students for thier exams.

Dancers from the school regularly take part in major Portsmouth events, such as the Lord Mayors Charity Gala and The Victorian Christmas festival as well as many smaller events and the school’s own annual Choreography Competition.Classes take place at St. Edmund’s Catholic School and for the 4+ age group include Modern Jazz, Ballet and Tap. For under 4’s we offer the full Melody Bear curriculum: Melody Movement, Tip Tap Toe and Groovy Moves.
